Craig Lovell presents his film Jerry Uelsmann – Post Visualization and the Creative Process. Ted Orland will be a guest speaker at the event.

Jerry was one of the great innovators of multi-image photography using seven enlargers to combine B&W negatives into surrealistic images that challenge the imagination and touch the viewer’s subconscious mind. He was head of the photography department at the University of Florida for 30 years. He ventured out to the West Coast to teach workshops with Ansel Adams. Ansel once said "God created the world in seven days, but on the eighth day, he saw that some things needed moving around, so he created Jerry Uelsmann".

The film is a 45 minute journey into Uelsmann’s philosophy and creative process, illustrated with over a hundred of his awe inspiring photographs.
